JAMES CAM of Sheffield began manufacturing edge tools in the second half of the 18th century.
Marked 'JAMES CAM WARRANTED CAST STEEL' with the Crown mark on the blade.
Good beechwood handle, small split near the bolster and minor strike damage at the top but firm and secure.
Previous owner's stamps ''S.HALL'.
Some surface pitting and staining spots.
