Hardwood body, cast aluminium head with glass eyes.
Marked 'DREADNOUGHT PATENT No193738' under the tail. A quick online search indicates that this patent was issued to a Harry William Turvey (1876-1949) on 13 April 1922 and relates to the mounting system.
A variety of fixings remain on the underside.
Some old, treated, worm exit holes.
Approximately 15 inches overall length.
Mounted on a later stand.
