A very nice antique 12 inch No.1370 boxwood rule & plumb level by RABONE of Birmingham.

Also sometimes referred to as a Masons' level.

Marked 'J. RABONE & SONS BIRMINGHAM MADE IN ENGLAND NO 1370 WARRANTED CORRECT'.

Also stamped '5'on the base.

Brass tipped ends.

Hand stamped, divided into eighths and sixteenths with a variety of scales, please see images.

Both clear bubble tubes are intact.

A few minor surface knocks and scratches.

1/2 inch thick, 111/16 inches tall.

A tidy example.
