An uncommon 16 inch brass plated hardwood spirit level by Edward PRESTON of Birmingham.

PRESTON offered very few 16 inch spirit levels and we believe this one may be an example of their 'broad rosewood level' with the extra strong brass plated top.

Faintly marked 'E PRESTON & SONS TRADE MARK' with the EP trade mark and 'IMPROVED WARRANTED CORRECT' on one side of the stock.

The clear glass bubble tube is intact.

Hanging hole to the base.
