An 18th century round profile moulding plane by George or Thomas DARBEY of Birmingham, circa 1730 - 1785.

Clear large embossed mark 'DARBEY' to the toe.

Fitted with a good length blade iron and original shapely wedge, a few pitting and staining spots, please see images.

Previous owner's stamps 'C.YOUNG' and another overstamped.

A touch under 10 inches (915/16" actual) overall length.
