A scarce 18th century moulding plane by John HAZEY of London, circa 1765 - 1785.

Embossed mark 'IOHN HAZEY' to the toe.

This hollow profile moulding plane has an unclear size stamp, possibly '13', on the heel.

Plenty of 18th century features, please see images.

Fitted with a good length blade iron and original wedge, a few minor surface pitting and staining spots, please see images.

Some surface knocks and scratches.

Previous owner's stamp 'S.W.DOSSER', 'W.BEETON' and 'C.BENHAM'.
