A hand forged cast steel 2 inch wide firmer chisel.

Unnamed but part of a collection of tools from Sheffield.

Clearly marked 'WARRANTED CAST STEEL' to the back of the blade.

Some surface pitting and staining, please see images.

51/4 inches long from the shoulders to the cutting edge, a little over 2 inches (52mm) wide.

Good boxwood handle with brass ferrule and leather washer, there are some staining patches and a hairline crack near the ferrule but all is firm and secure, please see close-up image.

143/8 inches (365mm) overall length.
