A cast steel 2 inch wide chisel by I&H SORBY of Sheffield.

Marked 'I&H SORBY SHEFFIELD' with the Hanging Sheep trade mark to the top of the blade.

Also stamped '1942' with the military Broad Arrow.

The blade is a touch over 2 inches wide (52mm) at the cutting edge, please see close-up image.

A few minor surface pitting and staining spots, please see images.

Very good ash wood handle with line detail and brass ferrule.

No previous owner's stamps.

133/4 inches (350mm) overall length.
