A very little used, possibly unused, 3/8 inch or 10mm No.9 deep straight carving gouge by ASHLEY ILES.

Very faintly marked 'ASHLEY ILES LTD MADE IN ENGLAND' on the top of the blade and '9' to the underside.

Appears to have its original factory grind, please see close-up image.

Very good beech wood handle with brass ferrule and trade label.

No previous owner's stamps.
