An unused 5/8 inch registered mortice chisel by CROWN TOOLS of Sheffield.

A touch under 5/8 inch or 15mm wide at the cutting edge.

Excellent registered pattern ash wood handle with steel ferrule, leather washer and steel hoop.

Full, slightly faded, trade label remains.

The thick blade has a few minor surface spots and the cutting edge may honing before use, please see images.

125/8 inches (320mm) overall length.
