A very nice 6 inch brass plated ebony spirit level by Edward PRESTON of Birmingham.

Believed to be a No.1209 Narrow Ebony Level' with the 6 inch being the smallest size of this type offered and one that doesn't turn up very often.

Marked 'E PRESTON & SONS TRADE MARK' with the EP trade mark and 'IMPROVED WARRANTED CORRECT' on the top brass plate.

Brass tipped bottom.

The clear glass bubble tube is intact.
