A scarce and very good American STANLEY No 65 low angle block plane.
Believed to be a later production model circa 1964 - 1969.
Marked 'No.65' on the left side.
Dark blue body with nickel plated cap and fittings.
Fitted with a good length 15/8 inch STANLEY cutter marked 'STANLEY MADE IN USA', a few minor surface spots, please see images.
11/8 inches remain below the slot.
Marked 'STANLEY MADE IN USA' on the adjuster wheel.
12 degree cutter angle, adjustable mouth.
Retains the majority of its original finish throughout.
A few very minor surface knocks and scratches, please see images.
All parts move freely and tighten securely.
7 inch sole length.
A fine example.
