A very tidy American STANLEY No.9 1/4 block plane.

Marked 'No 9¹/₄' on the left side.

Similar to the STANLEY 9¹/₂ block plane but without the adjustable mouth.

Fitted with a good length 1⁵/₈ inch STANLEY cutter marked 'STANLEY MADE IN USA', 1³/₁₆ inches remain below the slot.

Retains the majority of the original black finish, some wear to the top of the cap, please see images.

All parts move freely and tighten securely.
