A good ELVICTA brand brass plated rosewood screw slide mortice gauge by ELLIOT LUCAS of Birmingham.

Marked 'ELVICTA QUALITY TOOLS MADE IN ENGLAND' on one side of the head stock.

Brass wear strips, shield, slide and thumb screw adjuster.

Good length pins.

Much of the original lacquer finish remains.

All parts move freely and tighten securely.

A few minor surface knocks and scratches.

No previous owner's stamps.
