This example has very thick sides and may well be WW2 production.

Dismantled, cleaned, checked, oiled and reassembled.

Fitted with a near full length flat top 2³/₈ inch English STANLEY blade iron with matching cap iron, a little over 2¹/₈ inches remain below the slot.

Very good hardwood handles with the majority of their original lacquer finish.

Retains almost all of its original black finish.

All parts move freely and tighten securely.
