Not made of the usual beech but possibly some type of fruit wood?

Mahogany rear handle and wedge.

Fitted with a near full length 21/4 inch wide SORBY blade iron with matching cap iron, some surface pitting and staining spots, please see images.

A few knocks and scratches, please see images.

No previous owner's stamps.
