A very little used and probably unused graduated set of 9 vintage RECORD MARPLES bevel edge chisels with Splitproof handles.

Sizes: 1/8" (3mm), 1/4" (6mm), 3/8" (10mm) 1/2" (13mm), 5/8" (16mm), 3/4" (19mm), 1" inch (25mm), 1¹/₄" (32mm) and 1¹/₂ inch (38mm).

All (except the two smallest, due to space) are marked 'SHEFFIELD ENGLAND' with the relevant size on the blades.

Each appears to have its original factory grind, a few surface spots.

All have the red and yellow oval Splitproof handles, 6 are marked with the MARPLES trade mark to both sides, the other 3 are marked 'RECORD MARPLES', please see images.

Each is fitted with a 'MARPLES ENGLAND' edge protector.
