A good 1¹/₄ inch side bead moulding plane.

Although unmarked this non standard size plane is believed to be by Alexander MARSHALL of Glasgow as it came from the same previous owner with a slightly smaller 1 inch MARSHALL side bead. The 1 inch bead is an excellent match and can be seen here for comparison - MARSHALL 1 inch side bead

Stamped '1 IN 1/4' on the heel.

Good length blade iron with original wedge.

Good boxing wear strip.

Previous owner's stamps 'V' and 'C.SEYMOUR'.
