A good 11³/₄ inch brass plated hardwood spirit level by I & D SMALLWOOD of Birmingham.

Birmingham's last rule and level maker, manufacturing up until 1999.

Marked 'I & D SMALLWOOD 1919 WARRANTED CORRECT' on the top brass plate.

Also stamped with the military Broad Arrow mark over '46' to one side of the stock.

Brass tipped bottom.

Clear bubble and tube are intact.

This level retains the majority of its original lacquer finish.
