A good ASHLEY ILES 7/8 inch or 22mm fishtail carving gouge.

Marked 'ASHLEY ILES LTD MADE IN ENGLAND' to one side of the blade and faintly stamped '6'.

The sweep number is given as No.54 x 6 in the ASHLEY ILES catalogue.

Very good bubinga wood handle with brass ferrule, no previous owner's stamps.
