MALLOCH Mast or Spar Plane *SOLD*

A good beechwood spar or mast plane by MALLOCH of Perth.
Traditionally used to smooth masts, spars or oars etc.
Marked 'D MALLOCH PERTH' on the toe with '2 1/4' on the heel.
Also stamped '4' just behind the wedge mortice.
Fitted with a good length IBBOTSON blade iron and matching MALLOCH cap iron.
Previous owner's marks 'J.S.COOPER', 'D.HENDRY' and another overstamped.
One old, treated and wax filled, worm exit hole to the sole.
