A very little used MARPLES M423 double pinion hand drill.

Marked 'MARPLES M423' on the drive wheel and '423 MADE IN ENGLAND' on the handle plate.

Unusually this drill has a dark green rather than the normal blue finish and also has the remains of 'BT 92' in gold, possibly indicating that these drills were supplied to British Telecom ?

Almost all of the original green finish remains throughout including the drive wheel teeth, please see images.

Very good hardwood handles with the majority of their original finish.

3 jaw JACOB'S 10mm - 3/8" chuck, marked 'MADE IN ENGLAND UK AND FOREIGN PATENTS' to the top.

All parts move freely and tighten securely.
