Marked 'A.MATHIESON & SON Liverpool' with the Crescent & Star trade mark on the toe.

Also stamped 'STEEL'.

Fitted with an original MATHIESON 2¹/₄ inch blade iron with matching cap iron.

Both the back of the iron and the rear infill are stamped '2'.

Gunmetal lever cap and screw.

Good rosewood infill.

A few minor surface scratches, pitting and staining spots.

No previous owner's stamps.
