A scarce moulding plane style wooden spill plane by JOHN MOSELEY of London.

Marked 'MOSELEY & SON LONDON' to the toe indicating a date of circa 1819 - 1830. 

Fitted with a good length skewed blade iron and original wedge, some staining spots to the iron, please see images.

Integral fence to the left side of the sole.

Four small pin holes where a previous owner may have fixed a wooden guide/fence or slip.

A few minor surface knocks and scratches, please see images.

Previous owner's stamps 'E.BARNES', 'W.BAULCH' and 'G.E.MASKALL' overstamped.
