A very attractive wood carvers mallet.

Although we have not identified the timber, it's previous owner believes the wood is from the Oceania region and possibly Papua New Guinea rosewood.

Wonderful colour.

Turned from two laminated pieces, the join can just be seen in the images.

The head is approximately 3⁷/₈ inches (98mm) in diameter at its widest point and 3¹/₂" (90mm) long.

A few very minor surface knocks.

No previous owner's stamps.
