A French complex profile moulding plane by PEUGEOT FRERES.

Rarely seen here in the UK.

As with the majority of French wooden planes, this plane is made or cormier wood.

Simple and attractive line border detail found on planes by this maker.

Fitted with a good length 45mm single blade iron marked 'ACIER FONDU ANGLAIS' (English Cast Steel) and the PEUGEOT FRERES GARANTI Lion trade mark.  A few surface spots, please see images.

There are four old fixing holes to the left side of the sole plus a few minor surface knocks and scratches.
