A tidy nickel plated PRESTON 2509 bull nose plane.

Marked ‘PRESTON PATENT‘ with the EP trade mark on the cap.

This plane can be used as a bull nose or chisel plane by adding or removing the nose attachment.

Fitted with a good length original PRESTON 11/8 inch cutter.

Stamped ’10’ inside the main body, the underside of the cap and on the back of the cutter iron, please see close-up image.

Good clean mouth.

Some patchy nickel plating loss.

The previous owner has marked 'N' to each side.

4 inch sole.

All parts move freely and tighten securely.

A good and honest example.
