Marked 'R FAIRCLOUGH & CO 72 BYROM ST LIVERPOOL' to the toe and stamped '5' on the heel.

Good length blade iron and original wedge, a few minor surface spots, please see images.

Interestingly this plane has a rope hole through the stock, these holes are to allow fitting of a rope allowing the apprentice to add their pulling power and more typically found on the wider moulding planes.
