A good 25 foot RABONE No.4351 steel wind up measuring tape in steel case.

The 25 foot tape was the smallest size offered by RABONE and listed in their catalogue as:

'...one of the most compact and neatest of Steel Tape measures made.'

Marked 'JOHN RABONE & SONS BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND' on one side of the 2⁷/₈ inch diameter steel case.

Stamped '25FT No4351' on the brass flush handle winder housing.

Much of the original black finish remains, please see images.

The ³/₈" wide steel tape is marked 'LONDON JOHN RABONE & SONS BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND' and graduated into eighths and inches on one side.

The tape has been extended to its full length, is in good condition, has a few minor rust spots to the back  of the first eight inches (please see close-up images) and rewinds smoothly back into its case.

Complete with its original, slightly tatty, paper covered card box with trade label and 'instructions for use of steel measuring tapes' paper insert.
