Rare RECORD 125 Hand Drill *SOLD*

Code: 1834g

A very scarce No.125 hand drill by RECORD.

Only produced for a short period before WW2 and the first we have had.

The 125 has Bakelite knobs and removing the top knob reveals a hollow tube.

This hollow handle can be removed and re-positioned at 180 degrees to the gear wheel.

The handle locking screw is still in place and the handle thread clearly shows where this screw fits.

Marked 'RECORD MADE IN ENGLAND No125' on the gear lever with 'RECORD MADE IN ENGLAND' also on the three jaw chuck.

The malleable iron frame retains plenty of the original blue finish with as does the red gear wheel.

Some patchy loss to the nickel plating.

131/2 inches overall length.
