A very little used 2 3/8 inch RAY ILES plane blade or iron.

Made from D2 steel and stamped 'D2' to the right of the slot.

Thicker than standard STANLEY or RECORD blades at almost 1/8 inch.

To fit the No 4¹/₂, 5¹/₂, 6 and 7 bench planes.

2¹/₁₆ inches remain below the slot.

A touch over 7³/₈ inches overall length.
