A scarce cock bead moulding plane by Robert MORISON of Lanark.

Marked 'ROBERT MORISON LANARK' with the circular Warranted mark to the toe.

Fully boxed profile, the boxwood is in very good condition with no splits or cracks.

Fitted with a good length blade iron, some surface pitting and staining spots, and original wedge.

Previous owner's stamps 'JOHN.AULD' and 'ALEXR REID'.

There is also a coloured butterfly to the left side of the stock.

One old, treated and wax filled, worm exit hole to the stock plus a small run on the front of the wedge, please see images.

Minor surface knocks and scratches.
