A tidy wooden toothing plane by ROUTLEDGE of Birmingham

Marked 'ROUTLEDGE BIRMINGHAM' on the toe, also stamped 'B'.

Fitted with a good length 2 inch HEARNSHAW BROTHERS serrated blade iron.

There is a minor stress line to the left side of the wedge mortice however all is firm and secure, please see close-up image.

The back of the wedge and inside of the stock are both hand marked '4'.
