A very good beechwood bow saw by David FLATHER & SONS of Sheffield.
Also sometimes referred to as a turning or frame saw.
Marked 'D FLATHER & SONS SOLLY WORKS SHEFFIELD' on the frame.
Fitted with a 14 inch blade, 133/4 inches between the fixing pins.
Good beechwood handles with brass fittings.
The majority of the original lacquer finish remains.
No previous owner's stamps.
181/8 inches across the frame, 251/8 inches across the handles.
