A very tidy vintage PAX brand brass back dovetail saw by SANDERSON KAYSER LTD of Sheffield.
Believed to date from the 1960s - 1970s.
Excellent two tone open beechwood handle with two brass fixings including the copper and brass Warranted Superior medallion. Previous owner's stamps 'G.W.HATTERSLEY'.
The 8 inch blade is straight with all teeth (approx' 19/20 tpi) present and well formed.
Full PAX trade mark remains on the blade.
A few minor surface scratches however the majority of the original clear finish remains.
Complete with its original tooth guard.
