A very good graduated set of 5 wooden side bead moulding planes by MARPLES of Sheffield.

Sizes: 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 1/2 and 5/8 inch.

Each is marked 'W MARPLES & SONS SHEFFIELD' with the Hibernia Shamrock trade mark to the toe with the relevant size stamped on the heels.

The smallest size is fully or solid boxed and slipped with all others boxed and slipped.

All of the boxwood is in very good condition with no cracks or splits and only a few small chips to some at the ends, please see close images.

Good length blades irons and original wedges.

Previous owner's stamps 'A.TAYLOR'.

A few minor surface knocks and scratches.
