A scarce original graduated set of 9 wooden side bead moulding planes by GRIFFITHS of Norwich.

Sizes: 1/8, 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4 and 7/8 inch.

Each is marked 'GRIFFITHS NORWICH' to the toe with the relevant size stamped on the heel.

The three smaller sizes are fully or solid boxed and slipped with all others boxed and slipped.

All of the boxwood is in very good condition apart from the 1/4" plane that has two very small chips and the 5/16" plane which has a chip at the heel and split to the centre of the front boxing, please see close-up images.

Good length blade irons and original wedges, some surface spots to the irons, please see images.

Previous owner's stamps 'H.WILSON'.

A few minor surface knocks and scratches plus two old, treated and wax filled, worm exit holes, please see images.
