A very tidy and little used STANLEY No 5 1/2 jack plane.

Heavier and wider than the No.5 jack plane.

Dismantled, cleaned, checked, oiled and reassembled.

Fitted with a near full length 2³/₈ inch English STANLEY blade iron and matching cap iron, a little over 2¹/₈ inches remain below the slot.

Retains the almost all of its original finish throughout.

Very good hardwood handles with much of their original lacquer finish.

All parts move freely and tighten securely.
