A very little used STANLEY No 3 small smoothing plane.

Dismantled, cleaned, checked, oiled and reassembled.

Full length 1³/₄ inch English STANLEY blade iron with its original factory grind and lacquer finish, matching cap iron, just under 2 inches remain below the slot.

Retains the majority of its original black finish throughout.

Excellent hardwood handles with almost all of their original lacquer finish.

There are some light surface spots, mainly to the left side cheek plus a patch on the sole, please see all images.

All parts move freely and tighten securely.
