A very little used STANLEY No.4 smoothing plane.

Dismantled, cleaned, checked, oiled and reassembled.

Fitted with a near full length 2 inch STANLEY blade iron and matching cap iron, 2¹/₁₆ inches remain below the slot.

Retains almost all of its original black finish throughout.

Very good hardwood handles with the majority of their original lacquer finish.

All parts move freely and tighten securely.
