An English STANLEY No.5 jack plane.

Dismantled, cleaned, checked, oiled and reassembled.

Fitted with a good length 2 inch English STANLEY blade iron, a little over 13/4 inches remain below the slot.

Much of the original black finish remains.

Good hardwood handles, some minor wear to the top of the rear handle.

Some surface knocks, scratches, pitting and staining spots, please see images.

There is a heavier patch of pitting to the front of the sole, please see close-up images

All parts move freely and tighten securely.

14 inches overall length.
