A good 19th century twin iron nosing moulding plane by CHARLES GOWLAND of Newcastle.

Embossed mark 'CHAS GOWLAND' to the toe.

Fitted with two near full length blade irons and original wedges.

Each wedge has a small split starting at the bottom of the notch, please see images.

Previous owner's marks 'G.MATHER'.

There is a small chip to the top of the toe plus a few minor surface knocks and scratches, please see images.

The overall width of the cut is approximately 1³/₁₆ inches.
