An unused HENRY TAYLOR No.27 sweep spoon bent carving gouge blade.

1/2 inch or 13mm wide at the cutting edge.

Marked 'H TAYLOR ENGLAND 27' with the Acorn trade mark on one side of the blade and 'MADE IN ENGLAND' on the opposite side.

Also stamped '27' on the tang.

There is a small chip to the cutting edge and this unused tang will require sharpening/honing before use, please see close-up image.

Retains the original black finish throughout with the straw finish to the inside of the spoon, please see images.

51/8 inches (130mm) from the shoulder to the cutting edge, 63/4" (173mm) overall length.
