Unused Set of 10 MARPLES Carving Tools *SOLD*

A 'new old stock' set of 10 wood carving tools by MARPLES of Sheffield.
The tools include:
1.) 1/2 inch No.1 sweep chisel
2.) 1/8" & 1/2" No.5 sweep gouges
3.) 1/4" & 5/8" No.7 sweep gouges
4.) 1/16" & 1/8" No.11 sweep gouges
5.) 1/4" & 3/8" No.39 sweep v tools
6.) 1/2" No.2 sweep skew chisel
All have matching hardwood handles with brass ferrules and the original lacquer finish. The ferrule on the 5/8" No.7 is split but firm and secure, please see close-up image.
Each blade is marked with the sweep number, 'W MARPLES & SONS SHEFFIELD ENGLAND' and the Shamrock trade mark.
A few surface pitting and staining spots.
Between 91/8 inches and 913/16 inches overall length.
All housed in the original card box with contents and 'Gold Medal' trade labels.
A probably unique set of tools and as close to 'unused original finish' as we believe you will find.
