A very little used right hand VERITAS skew rebate or rabbet plane.

VERITAS say:

• 9-3/4" long ductile cast iron body machined with 45° blade bed
• Configured with blade skewed at 30° angle to reduce cut resistance, aid in shaving clearance and help pull fence tight against workpiece
• Blade sits flush with side of plane body
• Adjustable in two axes (vertical and horizontal), scoring spur sits ahead of blade and can be recessed
• 7-3/8" long fence is through-drilled to accept wooden extension
• Double guide rods and special collet locking system prevent fence from racking; large brass knobs allow fast and easy adjustments without tools
• Fence can be positioned to allow maximum rabbet width of 1-1/2"
• Adjustable shoe controls depth of cut to maximum 3/4" deep (can remove shoe for no depth limitation) ; has relieved edges to avoid marking work
