A vintage natural genuine Turkey oilstone sharpening stone, for restoration.

Sometimes referred to as a Cretan stone.

Retains much of its original paper trade label which reads 'GENUINE TURKEY OILSTONE', please see images.

There are some chips to both main surfaces however both are otherwise reasonably flat.

8¹³/₁₆ inches (224mm) long, 1¹³/₁₆" (47mm) wide and 1¹/₁₆" (27mm) deep.

This stone will require dressing before use.
