A useful vintage jewellers steel anvil or bench block.

1⁵/₈ inch (42mm) square flat top surface with bevelled edges.

The anvil is stamped '1/16" THICK' on two sides and lightly etched '18 SWG' and '20SWG' on opposite sides.

Also etched '093' on the base.

The centre hole in the base is tapped to allow fixing to a bench or similar.

This anvil weighs 1lb 12¹/₈oz or 796g.

1³/₄ inches (45mm) in height.
