A vintage VITREX brass glass cutter.

Designed for circular and straight work.

Marked 'VITREX' on the head with 'MADE IN SWITZERLAND' on the notched section.

The head can be fixed in two different positions to allow for straight or circular cuts, please see images.

The main bar is made up of two sections, the top (notched) section unscrews to reveal a screwdriver head that fits the cutting wheel retaining screw.

The lower section of the bar is hollow to allow the storage of spare cutting wheels.

This example has one wheel fitted to the head and three spare wheels are contained in the hollow bar section.

All parts move freely and tighten securely.
