A scarce No.13 hollow moulding plane by William FARMER of Bath.

According to BPM 4, directory entries for both Henry and William Farmer were as ironmongers however William is described as a planemaker in the 1826 entry.

Embossed marks 'W FARMER BATH' to the toe using two separate marks typical of the Bath planemakers.

Stamped '13' on the heel.

Good length blade iron with original wedge, a few minor surface spots, please see images.

Previous owner's stamps 'J.T.DAVEY', 'JW', 'G.MERCER' and another overstamped.
