A scarce fenced wooden handrail plane by GLEAVE of Manchester.
Marked 'GLEAVE OLDHAM ST MANCHESTER' on the toe.
Fitted with a good length 13/8 inch wide WARD & PAYNE single blade iron, a few minor surface pitting and staining spots, please see images.
Full length fence with two fixings.
Previous owner's stamps 'H CARDEN', 'J.CARDON', 'H.CONWAY' and 'J.KELLY.
3 inches wide, 71/8 inches overall length.
